Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care is a local charity which provides free end-of-life care and support for some 2,000 people across North West Surrey each year, and their families and carers.
Our wonderful 20 bedroom hospice in Woking’s Goldsworth Park provides high-quality in-patient care and day care services. More than 70% much of our vital care is given in patient’s own homes by our highly-skilled community nursing teams.
All our staff and volunteers are dedicated to putting our patients at the heart of our care to ensure that all their needs are met, their questions answered and they feel as supported as possible through the most difficult of times.
We are also there for their families, offering reassurance, guidance and support throughout their loved ones’ illness and beyond.
We could not do this without the amazing support of local fundraisers, who help us raise the £9 million it costs each year to deliver our services.
When you are doing your Downlink cycle training you could be pedalling past homes where care is being given at that very moment, so thank you for helping us to help our patients.
Citizens Advice Woking provides local clients with free, confidential, and independent general advice. Its well-qualified volunteer force has undertaken nationally recognized training to guide clients through their problems, providing them with options to help make those difficult decisions.
The service to the local community is operational, and they are available for advice and support to assist others.
